About Dr. Means
Billie
L. Means is an
outstanding choice
for orthodontic
services in Flower
Mound, Lewisville
and the surrounding
communities. She
is a graduate of
Creighton University
Dental School in
Omaha, Nebraska,
and completed her
post-graduate work
in orthodontics
at the University
of Minnesota in
Minneapolis.
Dr.
Means belongs to
the following honorable
societies: American
Association of
Orthodontists (AAO),
Southwest Society
of Orthodontists
(SWSO), American
Dental Association
(ADA), Texas Dental
Association (TDA),
Dallas County Dental
Society, and Denton
County Dental Society.
She is involved
in many community
activities as well
as Christian medical
mission efforts
in countries such
as Haiti, Mexico,
Central and South
America.
Dr. Means
has received the “Women
Who Make a Difference” award
for volunteerism
in the Lewisville
area. Dr. Means
has lived in and
practiced in Lewisville
and Flower Mound
since 1981. She
is married to Randy
Means, has two
grown children,
Jason and Andrea,
and one granddaughter
Jocelyn. Randy
is a retired manager
from IBM who now
teaches Math and
coaches football
and wrestling.
Jason is a graduate
of Austin College
in Sherman and
is a police officer.
Andrea is a graduate
of Baylor University
and Texas A&M Medical
School and currently
entering a residency
program in Family
Medicine. Jason’s
wife, Brandie is
also a graduate
of Austin College
and a Physical
Therapist graduated
from Southwestern
Medical in Dallas.
Jason and Brandie
have one daughter,
Jocelyn, who is
Dr. Means’ first
grandchild.
